Christine McGuinness has revealed she had to rush her daughter to hospital after she suffered an injury.

The 33-year-old model and campaigner is a proud mum-of-three - sharing eight-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and five-year-old daughter Felicity with her 50-year-old soon-to-be ex-husband, Paddy McGuinness. On Saturday, Christine shared the news that one of her daughters had been injured while practising gymnastics.

She revealed she had rushed her child to A&E - sharing an image from the inside of a hospital. However, she was able to update fans soon after to reveal they had been happily discharged from the medical facility. Christine shared a photograph from inside a hospital Accident and Emergency department via her Instagram Stories. She shared a snap of a corridor with a sign stating: "A&E GP Out of hours".

She added a caption over the image, which read: "Currently spending my Saturday here though so hopefully I'll see you at the charity match tomorrow depending on how my little lady. Just a minor injury at gymnastics. She's made of strong stuff so we're good, just another day in the life of a mama!"

Soon after, Christine shared another update revealing that she had returned home with her daughter. She shared a photo of herself posing while triumphantly holding bags of McDonald's take-out up in the air. She wrote: "All home. Mummy, McDs and extra snuggles on demand. NHS Macclesfield hospital were absolutely amazing and extra gentle with my girl today. Thank you."

She added: "To the lady in the waiting area who gave my daughter sensory toys THANK YOU." Christine's updates come after she shared details of a health panic of her own as she suffered an autism meltdown spiral". Taking to social media, she shared details of her ordeal - and the "post-meltdown".

She wrote: "'Might delete later' kinda post. Because my autistic self likes to present perfection, this goes against what I like to share but it is part (a small part thankfully my ‘moments’ are few and far between) of me being authentically autistic. The music in my car helps to block out the noise in my head. Music is medicine for me. And understanding the spiral really helps, I hope the visual representation helps others too."

The star added: "Be kind to yourself, remember it passes, it always passes." Christine has been candid about her autism journey - explaining in 2021 that she had been diagnosed as autistic after her children had already been diagnosed with the condition. She explained that being told she was autistic came as a relief.

She said in a podcast last year: "It's quite common to get a double diagnosis when you're autistic, you could potentially be autistic and ADHD, or autistic and dyspraxic, or dyslexic, it is quite common to get that double barrel. For me, I didn't understand how I could be ADHD, because again, you Google or you see people, and you have this image of what you think ADHD is going to be like, and I didn't fit in that bracket. I'm an inattentive ADHD, which is different to the typical hyperactive ADHD person that you might see and recognise more often. So, for me, when I'm inattentive, I can be quite distant, I live in my own little bubble.

"It goes quite naturally with my autism, it overlaps and it's quite similar, but then I have moments where I am extremely hyperactive in my thoughts, in the creative side, in my feelings, in my emotions. I will be extremely hyper-emotional if I'm sad: it can be the end of the world, to the point where I think, I can't cope, I can't do this anymore, even having suicidal thoughts. It can go that far, and that's where the hyper side is for me. On the plus side, if I'm happy, it's the best thing in the world, and nothing can ruin your day, and it can be from the tiniest little thing."
