Emmerdale fans will be treated to another Dingle wedding on the ITV soap on Thursday.
As ever, fans can expect drama and chaos as the family get together to celebrate the wedding of Belle Dingle and Tom King. The pair soon find things not going to plan, as a bombshell is dropped during the ceremony.
If past Dingle weddings are anything to go by, then we can definitely expect high drama. In the past there have been tragedy, deaths, huge stunts and even a live episode. Devastating bombshells and moving scenes have also aired over the past 50 years plus.
Here, we take a look back at some of the most dramatic Dingle weddings on the ITV soap. From explosions, to shock deaths and villain's taking action, there's plenty of nostalgia...
One wedding got the full treatment, with a live episode celebrating the ITV soap's 40th birthday in 2012. Chas Dingle was tying the knot to Dan Spencer, only for her ex Carl King to cause mayhem.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesAfter Carl discovered Chas' affair with Cameron Murray he blackmailed them, before attacking Chas. Chas hit him over the head and fled the scene, believing she had killed him - only for him to regain consciousness, with killer Cameron finishing the job.
As well as the live episode, we've also seen some big stunts rock the Dingle weddings. In 2015, a helicopter crash claimed two lives and injured bride Debbie Dingle on her wedding day to Pete Barton.
Chrissie White caused the crash by setting fire to a car, only for the explosion to damage the helicopter. The wreckage came down and not only destroyed the fun fair outside, but also the venue of Debbie's wedding while the bride, groom and guests were all inside.
Then there was the lorry crash in 2021 which claimed the life of Paul Ashdale on his wedding day to Mandy Dingle. Paul was attacking Liv Flaherty in a barn, the venue, when Jimmy King lost control of his lorry, crashing into the barn and causing an explosion.
Sadly at such a joyous time for the Dingles, a couple of weddings have been rocked by tragedy. In 2000, Butch Dingle died moments after marrying wife Emily after he was injured in the bus crash.
Butch knew he would not survive and married his partner, but sadly they did not have long together as a married couple. In 2019, Lisa Dingle was killed off on her second wedding to Zak Dingle.
Lisa knew she had a terminal illness and didn't have long left to live, and so she and Zak decided to get married again after a past split. But sadly as the reception got under way, Lisa passed away peacefully on the sofa.
There's been many a dramatic bombshell during weddings on the soap, especially for the Dingles. Debbie Dingle found her affair with groom Pete's brother Ross Barton exposed via a voice recording in front of the guests.
Chas' wedding to Carl back in 2010, which was not successful, also ended with a major discovery. Chas had found out about his affair, with the other woman exposing him to everyone at the church - followed by Chas admitting the wedding was a sham, as she conned him out of his money.
Back to Debbie, and on her planned wedding to Joe Tate he was attacked and 'killed' by accident by her father Cain Dingle. Months later we learned he wasn't really dead and was on the run from Kim Tate.
Richard 'shuts up' GMB guest who says Hancock 'deserved' being called 'd***head'A most recent betrayal was Mack hiding the fact he was the father of Chloe Harris' baby on his wedding day to Charity Dingle. Of course it's all come out since then and the pair are even back together, much to the annoyance of fans.
Now for some humour, and one wedding almost didn't go ahead as the groom got more than he bargained for. After a number of weddings under his belt, Marlon Dingle got a shock when partner Jessie planned a surprise wedding, and he did not know until he arrived.
As she announced the news to him he literally fainted, caught by his cousin Sam Dingle as everyone watched on. Another humorous Dingle wedding saw Charity and Mack dress up as The A-Team characters instead of the usual wedding attire.
