Vanessa Feltz's ex-boyfriend Ben Ofoedu took aim at the TV star and claimed she 'stole the best years of his life'.
The 51-year-old Phats & Small singer and Vanessa, 61, were in a relationship for 17 years until their romance came to a devastating end in February last year. The end of the relationship was very public as the duo hit out at each other in interviews and on social media.
She even accused the singer of being unfaithful during the time together, a claim he later admitted to. He said to The Sunday Mirror he slept with a woman and shared text messages with another. Their split heavily affected Vanessa and she dropped over two stone in weight as she struggled to eat and endured a ‘heartbreak diet’ as she faced life without her former fiancé.
After getting together with his new girlfriend Precious Muir, 34, Ben said he 'got nothing' from his 17-year relationship with TV presenter Vanessa. "I gave myself to someone for a quarter of my life and ultimately I got nothing from it… it's absolutely heartbreaking," he said.

For her, I felt I was just a convenience. I was a cooler, younger guy that gave her a youthful appearance"

Ben went on to claim she 'spun the narrative' and made him look like the 'bad guy' after taking the 'best years' of his life. Mirror Online have contacted Vanessa's representatives for comment. Ben recently hit headlines when he chatted with ex-Apprentice star Ryan-Mark Parsons. At one point during their chat, Ben made a joke about always answering his messages online.
He said: "I always reply to all my DMs, that's why I'm in this trouble," and talked about fancying famous ladies Sheridan Smith and Ulrika Jonsson. He called Ulrika "gorgeous, stunning" and said he'd definitely go after her. Reports later claimed Vanessa was mortified by his statements as sources said it was 'like rubbing salt in the wound'.
The insider shared to OK!: "Vanessa is embarrassed and mortified by his comments, but she's in a really good place. She just wants it all to go away now and she won't want to go backwards."
