Xbox bosses Phil Spencer, Matt Booty, and Sarah Bond will be appearing on the Official Xbox Podcast later this week here's what you need to know.

Recently, the internet has been filled rumours of Xbox going multiplatform with some of its bigger titles – including Starfield – set to arrive on PS5. This news sent Xbox Series X|S owners into a frenzy, with some people online even fearing Xbox could be ditching consoles entirely to follow in Sega's footsteps and become a publisher. Xbox boss Phil Spencer will be appearing alongside head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty, and Xbox president Sarah Bond to discuss their vision for the future of Xbox.

Outside of the guests on the show, there isn't too much known about what will actually be spoken about. However, one thing that is worth noting is that a Nintendo Direct presentation is rumoured for later this week, and considering those typically air on Thursdays, we may be seeing the first announcement of Xbox's new strategy earlier than this podcast. One of the biggest rumours currently surrounding Xbox is that Tango Gameworks' 2023 banger Hi-Fi Rush may be heading to Nintendo Switch in the near future, so it could be a part of an upcoming Nintendo Direct.

Xbox Podcast: start time and how to watch

The Official Xbox Podcast is set to become available at 8pm GMT / 3pm EST / 12pm PST on Thursday, February 15. Xbox hasn't officially confirmed how long the podcast will be, however, previous episodes of the Official Xbox Podcast have run between 50 to 90 minutes. Unlike other gaming events like Nintendo Direct presentations or PlayStation State of Play, the Official Xbox Podcast will not be a live event, so you'll be able to skip through the episode at will.

You'll be able to catch a video version of the Official Xbox Podcast on the Xbox YouTube channel, or you can listen to it on your usual podcast platform of choice.
