When it comes to picking an Easter egg you've got plenty of choice this year, but your eyes will no doubt do a double-take if you spot this particular treat on supermarket shelves.

Supermarket shoppers think this Egg looks more like a potato than a white chocolate treat - and can you blame them? Morrisons brought back its most popular Easter Eggs - including the Best Belgian White & Blonde Chocolate Easter egg.

While there's no doubt people love it for its delicious flavour, its appearance is what has got people talking. Taking to the Facebook group Snack News & Reviews, one member shared a picture of the egg, writing: "The [potato emoji] Egg is back at Morrisons!"

Hundreds of amused shoppers flocked to the comment section, with another adding: "I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought it was a potato." A third commented: "Thought that was a potato," while a fourth joked: "Now that's a tattie that would make some good soup!!"

"I mite [sic] get one and put my sons Mr potato head bits on it," said another, while a sixth added: "Is it just me who looked initially at that and thought it was a jacket spud?"

But the Easter egg's tater-like appearance didn't put people off, Wales Online reports. One person wrote: "I want it!," while another added: "This looks so good."

Morrisons' The Best Belgian White & Blonde Chocolate Easter Egg is after all not an actual potato. According to its description on the supermarket's website, "The Best Belgian White & Blonde Chocolate Egg is part of our premium Easter collection".

It continues: "Crafted by a fourth-generation family chocolatier, with over 100 years of experience, using the finest ingredients to bring you a mouth-watering moment of indulgence with every bite. Our luxuriously rich and creamy Belgian white and blonde chocolate egg, studded with crisp biscuit pieces."
