TOWIE star Jess Wright has celebrated her adorable nephew turning one as she opened up about his difficult beginnings.
The reality TV star's brother Josh and his wife Hollie Kane gave birth to Dustin in 2023. Dustin was born prematurely and spent the first weeks of his life in an incubator. At the time of his birth, he weighed 2.4lbs.
Jess confessed that her loving nephew had "fought against all odds" and that he's grown to become "the happiest little soul". On her social media page, the 38-year-old mum of one shared a plethora of heartwarming videos of Dustin over the last 12 months.
She posted a devastating video of him as a tiny newborn with tubes in his nose and clips of a smiling Dustin much older and happier. Taking to Instagram, Jess penned: "Our Dusty chops. Dustin I cannot believe you’re 1. You came into this world a year ago today, very very early but you fought against all the odds & are thriving to say the least. You are the happiest little sweet soul & we all love you so much (especially Presley, he adores you so much) let’s celebrate the little miracle that you are today boy."

Xx" Another person added: "Just love the bond these cousin’s will have all growing up together. Happy 1st birthday Dustin." A third person wrote: "Bless him. Happy Birthday little man. Have a fabulous day celebrating."

Jess says she's proud to have overcome her own difficult birth and her battle with post-natal depression after she welcomed her son Presley in 2022. Her first child had to be delivered by emergency C-section five days before his due date. She candidly confessed: "I thought when they said that it was just like ‘Oh you might feel down for a couple of days because it’s called the baby blues.’ I’m like, ‘You’re just totally disguising post-natal depression, which is debilitating.'"

Jess beaming with pride over her sonShe continued: "I had that for a month, and then all of a sudden it just lifted... It’s more scary because A, I didn’t know how long it was going to last - some women suffer for like 6 months and some more. And B, I just couldn’t enjoy anything with him."
Sharing her advice to new mothers, she said: "Tell someone how you're feeling as they won't 'judge you'. They’re always going to be there for you if they love you. And there are so many others who are suffering." During the last few days of her pregnancy, Jess revealed that she'd been left frightened due to the fact her son had stopped moving inside her womb. She was later advised by doctors to go straight to the hospital.
"In those last few weeks, he had been so active and then, all of sudden, it [the movements] completely dropped, which was very scary, so our doctor told us to come straight to hospital," she told Hello! magazine.
