After Vanessa Feltz very publicly split from her partner of 16 years, Ben Ofoedu, she launched herself into the world of dating again.
The This Morning regular, 61, ended her longterm romance with singer Ben, 51, over Christmas 2023 after discovering his infidelity, with the hitmaker having cheated on her multiple times throughout the duration of their relationship.
Over summer, the much-loved TV star geared herself up for her very first date in 17 years as part of the brand-new series of Celebs Go Dating which saw Vanessa turning to the dating experts to help her navigate a trusting relationship again.
However, Vanessa didn’t have the smoothest time at the Channel 4 dating agency and came under fire for seemingly being "abrupt" with her romantic suitors. However, in an exclusive , expert Anna Williamson set the record straight on the broadcaster's journey at the agency.

But I'm really pleased that Vanessa stuck with the process and we naturally stuck with Vanessa to help bring her through."
Anna also revealed Vanessa has undergone a huge change since she first arrived at the agency looking for advice after splitting with her ex-fiancé musician Ben. "She started very green at dating and now she's an absolute dating pro," Anna continued. "I hope people will be pleased to see her finish this series in a really positive place, perhaps a place that people wouldn't have assumed might happen if they'd been watching a couple of weeks ago. But Vanessa is a great example of someone who sticks with the process and we eventually get there in the end."
Appearing on the show, Vanessa described her first date since Ben as “terrifying” as she shared her mixed feelings as she headed out on her first date in nearly two decades as part of the celebrity dating show.
, Vanessa said: "OMG going off on my first date for Celebs Go Dating. I haven't been on a date for 17 years, so just imagine how I'm feeling. I can't even find the words to describe it, and I'm good at words."
In October, Vanessa said she enjoyed her time on the popular dating show and hinted she’d been on a few dates. The star said: "Celebs Go Dating was definitely an education. I was originally scared of dating, but now it's taken the fear away. My dating has been up and down, it's definitely not smooth sailing.”
