Tom Brady has been mocked by his long-term and now current teammate Logan Ryan, who intercepted the last pass he ever threw at the New England Patriots.

Ryan spent four years with Brady in New England and played big roles in two of their Super Bowl victories, when they defeated the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons.

Now reunited with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Ryan has reminded Brady of a dark moment of his career - asking him to sign the ball that he intercepted from Brady. That pass was in the AFC wild-card weekend in 2019, when the Patriots were defeated by the Tennessee Titans, when Ryan jumped a route to intercept the pass and returned it for a touchdown - ending their season.

That would turn out to be the final ever pass thrown by Brady, as he then decided to leave the Patriots after 20 years, going on to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won a Super Bowl in his first season.

Ryan joined the Buccaneers this off-season, and has been a reliable role player for the team, who have had a disappointing season but will be in the playoffs this weekend.

And Brady posted on his Instagram on Saturday morning, revealing that Ryan asked him to sign the football he picked off. Brady wrote: "When Logan Ryan asks you to sign a ball", with the signature reading 'Last pass as a Patriot', with Brady's signature and the date of the play.

Ryan went on to spend two years at the New York Giants, before reuniting with Brady this past off-season.

Although having a talented roster, the Buccaneers have limped into the playoffs with a 8-9 record - the first losing season of Brady's career as a starter.

They come into the game as underdogs against the Dallas Cowboys, who have had an impressive 13-4 season, all whilst getting subpar quarterback play from Dak Prescott.

Monday night could indeed be Brady's final game, not only as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, but as an NFL player.

The 45-year-old has an offer to join FOX Sports' commentary team when he retires, and could be tempted to do so after his play has slightly dipped in his 23rd season.

However, rumours have emerged that he could be tempted to join the Las Vegas Raiders, to reunite with long-time offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
