Following its successful comeback in 2024 with the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC, the latest round of Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes bring about even more tweaks and changes.

Following its disastrous launch at the tail end of 2020, the narrative on Cyberpunk 2077 has well and truly turned around. Slowly but surely developer CD Projekt Red has been hard at work making its first-person RPG the masterpiece it originally should have been, a feat that culminated with the launch of Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC last year. This came alongside the enormous Update 2.0 that was free to everyone who owned the game. Now there are more improvements in store thanks to the Cyberpunk 2077 2.11 update that is rolling out now.

The Cyberpunk 2077 2.11 update is available to download immediately for players on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. As for what they do, the sizeable list of bug fixes, changes, and improvements has been fully detailed in a post on the official Cyberpunk 2077 website. The headline change relates to car changes, which will occur less frequently when Update 2.11 is applied. Melee Finishers have also been fixed to animate properly, while completed map objectives that are showing up as incomplete shouldn’t be a plague any longer.

Update 2.11’s primary objective is to fix “the most common issues encountered by players,” CD Projekt Red reveals. The improvements and fixes are by no means as consequential as Update 2.0, then, but the developer has snuck in a few gem-worthy additions such as the ability to coat Rayfield manufactured cars in a new paint colour called ‘CrystalCoat’ that looks appropriately snazzy. Such improvements come after Update 2.0’s significant revamp to the perk system and Update 2.1’s addition of a metro and more ways to romance partners.
