Travis Kelce yelled "NEVADA!" at Taylor Swift after Kansas City Chiefs beat Baltimore Ravens to confirm their spot at next month's Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

Kelce, 34, played a pivotal role in the Chiefs lifting the Lamar Hunt Trophy for the fourth time in five years, catching 11 passes from Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes for 116 yards - including a 19-yarder for the game's opening touchdown. But this year was different.

Not only were they away from their Arrowhead Stadium home for the first time over Championship Weekend, but Swift was there on the field to celebrate with Kelce afterwards. Kelce split with long-term girlfriend Kayla Nicole Brown before the start of last season, at the end of which he won his second Super Bowl.

Swift left her home in the Manhattan borough of New York City around midday on Sunday before flying to Maryland that afternoon. She arrived at the Ravens' M&T Bank Stadium with Mahomes' wife Brittany and watched the game with friends Cara Delevingne and Keleigh Teller.

After the game, Swift joined the celebrations on the field. Kelce's family - including his brother and Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason, father Ed and mother Donna - and close friends were also present for the occasion. Swift even reached the Chiefs tight end before his own dad did.

She leaned in for a kiss and an extended hug after Kelce yelled "NEVADA!" upon seeing Swift, the state where this year's Super Bowl will be played.

While embracing, he rhetorically asked her: "How about that one, huh?" Any response from Swift was inaudible as she had her head against his chest.

They kissed again before Kelce noticed his approaching father. "PAPA!" he shouted, giving him a huge hug. "What's up, big dog?" he asked, channelling his inner Tiger Woods, before repeating: "How 'bout it, huh?" Kelce restated their upcoming destination again, roaring: "Las Vegas! Here we go, baby!"

He affixed his Chiefs cap emblazoned with the word "CHAMPIONS" and exclaimed: "Woo!". He declared something as "the craziest" before turning his attention back to Swift. "What's up, sweetie?" he asked as she came in for another hug. She replied, "I have never seen you like that!"

Kelce then asked: "Where were you guys at?" Swift pointed across the stadium to where they had been watching the game. "We were over there, all the way up there," she explained, adding: "That was insane, I can't believe it!" Kelce and Swift shared another kiss and hug before parting ways.

The Chiefs will now face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, a repeat of their match in 2019, which saw Kansas City triumph with a memorable fourth-quarter comeback. Now, fans are eager to see if Swift will make it to the game in Las Vegas, given that she has a show in Tokyo the day before Super Bowl LVIII.
