The January sales are a prime time for UK shoppers to lock into some bargain price drops and the latest eye-catching offer from Virgin Media will see you walk away with the pick of a free £150 Amazon gift card, a swanky pair of Bose headphones, a Sonos sound bar for your TV or an Xbox Series S.

Yes, you can pick one of those multi-hundred-pound items for free, and here's how. Anyone who takes out a Virgin Media broadband and TV 'Big, Bigger, or Biggest' package will walk away with either of the gifts, but you have to act fast. The deal is only on for shoppers who head to the checkout by this Sunday, January 28.

Virgin Media shoppers can choose from a free Xbox Series S console, which usually retails for £249, a Sonos sound bar worth £220, a £189 pair of Bose wireless headphones, or an Amazon shopping voucher to put towards anything they like worth up to £150 - and you won't pay a single penny for any of the items listed above.

It's part of the provider's ongoing winter sale and despite its flurry of home Wifi, broadband and TV deals up for grabs until February 7, this extra money-saving perk comes to a close much quicker. Not only will you walk away with a huge freebie but you'll cut hundreds off your next household bill.

If you spot this a little too late to catch one of the free devices then not to worry as you can still lock into a much cheaper mobile, TV or broadband contract with the provider. You can still save up to as much as £270 in its winter sale.

Its Mega Volt Bundle has the biggest price drop, £270 over the full 18-month contract, as it drops by £15 a month. Next up is Virgin Media's £144 saving on the Bigger Combo broadband plan, and £99 price cut on its M250 broadband. Not forgetting it's a huge deal for Premier League fans, where you'll save £144 across this limited-time offer.

Going up against rival retailer Sky to offer a number of price drops across its site there are a lot of ways users can cut the pennies, and we've rounded up all the major 2024 deals from Virgin Media, which you can read here. And to compare the deals why not take a read of our 2024 Sky deals too?
