Noel Gallagher has hit out at his ex-wife Sara McDonald following their divorce.
Noel and Sara first met back in 2000 when the Mancunian singer chatted up Sara at Ibiza club Space. The pair tied the knot in 2011 and share sons Donovan, 16, and Sonny, 14, together.
Speaking on Matt Morgan's Patreon Podcast, Noel spoke about his new life as a divorced man. He said: "I can get on the bike and go up to King's Cross, and go down to the canal. And get on the canal outside my wonderful ex-wife's house and give her a little wave, and go, 'You didn't take this from me!'"
"But the pace of London is f**king great at the minute, I'm loving it," he added.
Noel also addressed living a year in a £2,500-a-night suite at swanky hotel Claridge's following the end of his marriage. He continued: "I had some proper f**king good times there – it was a proper good time. I lived there for most of last year, I was there three or four nights a week."

Noel and his brother Liam Gallagher's infamous feud saw the end of Britpop sensation Oasis, but the singer denied the possibility of a comeback regardless of their feud. "Timing is everything. Even if we were to come back now, it would be just like a heritage kind of thing. It could never be the same," he told his friend Matt.
"If Oasis appeared tomorrow with Supersonic and we were talking about f**king Rottweilers snorting cocaine in the studio and how we didn't give a f**k about drugs in the studio, the record companies would sh**t themselves. It would be like the Sex Pistols. We wouldn't be this massive thing with Radio 1 playing it constantly. You'd be underground."
The Mirror previously exclusively revealed that Noel turned his back on booze on New Year’s Day. But the health-conscious Live Forever songwriter, 56, will not be sober permanently and he is already plotting a “blowout” after a big gig at London’s Albert Hall.
Noel said: “I’ve been drinking every day for four years, half a bottle of red wine a night. I’ve got a gig on March 21 at the Royal Albert Hall, so that’s the aim – to have a big blowout the night after that, go mad, swinging my undies round my head in the dressing room.”
Speaking on the Matt Morgan podcast, Noel said: “I’m all or nothing and I can do it. I quit drugs like that… I got up one day and said, ‘After tonight, that is it’. I’m three weeks into it and I feel the best I’ve felt since 2019.”
He added: “Sobriety… I’m all for it. I know it’s not gonna last for ever so yeah, I’m liking it. I’m embracing it. It’s not going to be a new way of life as I do like a drink. But now that I’ve got back into the way that I was before lockdown, I think I’ll stop the drinking at home.”
