The Divisional Playoffs came to an end this weekend and the Conference Championships are now set.
It was a thrilling set of games as The Detroit Lions reached the NFC Championship Game for the first time in 32 years with a 31-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while defending champion Kansas City Chiefs closed in on a return to the Super Bowl after they fought off the Buffalo Bills 27-24.
The Lions produced a second half display to remember as they turned on the style to go from 10-10 to see off the Bucs in a huge win that has moved the Lions a step closer to playing in the Super Bowl - a game the franchise has never played in. The Lions had a number of star performers with QB Jared Goff, who was 30-of-43 for 287 yards and two TDs, while rookie Jahmyr Gibbs was also impressive for Detroit as was Amon-Ra St. Brown who produced eight catches, 77 yards and one touchdown.
Detroit will now face the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, with the winner booking a place at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on February 11. In the other game, the Kansas City Chiefs edged closer to Las Vegas with a statement win over the Bills. It was heartbreak for Buffalo as kicker Tyler Bass blew a big chance to draw level with the Chiefs with minutes to go when he fired a 44-yard field goal wide, which meant Buffalo's six-game winning streak came to a halt in the most dramatic of circumstances.
There had been much talk of the Chiefs' stalling offense this season with it often struggling to fire but there wasn't a trace of the issues that had plagued them this season as Patrick Mahomes finished the game 17/23 for 215 yards and two touchdown passes to tight end Travis Kelce. The star pair also made history by eclipsing Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski for the most postseason touchdowns between a quarterback-receiver duo. Kansas will now face the Baltimore Ravens on Championship weekend for a place at Super Bowl LVIII.

You can watch the Chiefs at the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday January 28 from 8pm UK time and you can see the Lions at the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game on the same night from 11:30pm UK time.
