The funeral for Savanah Soto and her unborn baby is set to take place this weekend, as police make another arrest in connection with their mysterious deaths. The service had been postponed due to poor weather but will now happen on Sunday, January 21.
Police have made a third arrest related to the baffling deaths of Soto, her boyfriend Matthew Guerra, and their unborn child, Fabien. The pair disappeared before Christmas and were found shot dead five days later in a San Antonio car park.
Savanah was heavily pregnant when she died and was scheduled to be induced into labour. Authorities confirmed that Myrta Romanos, 47, has been arrested in relation to the murders. She faces several charges including tampering with evidence and hiding or destroying a human body. Romanos is the step mum of Christopher Preciado, who has been charged with the couple's deaths.

The funeral service will be private for family members only, but the rosary will be open to the public at 7pm. According to Soto's family, she was a week overdue at the time of her disappearance.

After finding the bodies of Soto and Guerra, 19 year old Christopher Preciado was arrested and charged with murder. His dad, Ramon Preciado, 53, got into trouble too for allegedly helping to hide what happened.
Neither of them have entered a plea deal, but are expecting to be in court in February. Police believe the deaths are linked to a drug deal gone wrong.

The Soto family has already been through a tragedy as Savanah's brother Ethan was killed two years earlier. Ethan was only 15 when he was murdered in May 2022. The police caught his suspected killer, Victor Nathaneal Rivas, who was just 17 then, a few months later.
The police believe Ethan's death was also related to a drug deal. It is believed Ethan stole drug cartridges from Rivas. Ethan's mum reportedly tried to calm Rivas down by offering to pay for the cartridges, and even met with him. But Rivas wasn't satisfied and took to Instagram to get help from a young girl.
Ramon Preciado was arrested (San Antonio PD)Ethan thought he was talking to a young girl and they arranged to meet. The girl said she wanted to buy some THC cartridges from Ethan and texted him when she was near his house. Ethan left his home to meet her.
But it wasn't the girl who met Ethan - it was Rivas, who shot the younger lad several times. Ethan later died in hospital from his injuries, according to KSAT.
