LIV Golf appears to be adding 2023 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark to its circuit.

Rumours of Clark's potential move to LIV Golf started in October 2023 when the 30-year-old was playing at the Andalucia Masters. In a press conference from the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, Clark mentioned how he wanted golf to be worldwide and explained how he wanted the PGA Tour expand the locations of its tournaments.

"I love the PGA Tour, I love the United States, but I also love traveling the world and growing the game of golf; I think it's the best thing for golf, to make it a global game," he said at the time, per SB Nation.

"If we could play more events outside the U.S. that have both U.S. and international players, I think it's the best thing for the game. I would love it if we had five to seven events outside the U.S. which were in Europe, or in Asia, or the Middle East, or wherever it was."

As it stands, almost every tournament on the PGA Tour schedule is located in North America, with very few either in Europe or elsewhere. The schedule for the fall season has not been revealed as of yet, and could feature a trip to Japan as well.

Meanwhile, LIV Golf has tournaments in Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and other marquee locations outside of North America. While nothing has been officially confirmed regarding Clark's possible move to LIV, the "Flushing It" podcast has claimed that the two sides have been working on a deal since before Christmas.

According to Handicap 54, alongside Clark, No. 10-ranked amateur Caleb Surratt and Keiran Vincent are reportedly heading to LIV as well to potentially join Jon Rahm's team. The 19-year-old Surratt was a member of Team USA for the 2023 Walker Cup and was among the six youngsters chosen for the 2021 USA Junior Ryder Cup team.

Vincent is a 26-year-old Zimbabwean and has been playing on the Asian Tour. He won the Chapman Grand Slam in 2018 and 2019, as well as the 2023 International Series Vietnam. If all three players do join LIV Golf, they will be rounding out Rahm's team, called "Legion XIII."
