Pizzas on offer at The Critics' Choice Awards 2024 didn't seem to go down well with celebrities at this year's star-studded ceremony.

Oprah Winfrey and Fantasia Barrino were amongst the A-list audience seemingly unimpressed with the dinner table offerings, including boxes of charcuterie and pizza that came in a bag. It left Fantasia asking, "Where are the lamb chops?"

The Color Purple's Barrino, Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks and Oprah, who co-produced the remake, were seen tucking into dinner in a video shared on Instagram as the TV host snubbed the set menu, appearing to say: "I'm not messing up my lips."

It didn't end there as film producer Jen D'Angelo shared the food on her social media, being less subtle with her review. She uploaded a snap of the pizza and called it "absolutely revolting" before comparing the snack to something "3D printed".

Paul Giamatti mocked the meal during his speech, saying: "Serious guys, I need that endorsement. So let’s all just pray for me. Everybody get their pizza in a bag, by the way? I think that’d be a good endorsement. Paul Giamatti for pizza in a bag."

The Critics' Choice Awards is a night of star-studded celebration for the film and TV industry and Everything Everywhere All at Once took home the big prize on the night. Held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, the 28th annual ceremony begun with a flurry of famous faces sitting down for a night of showbiz glitz and glamour.

A-list celebrities walked the red carpet in preparation for the event, with stars such as Matt Smith, Abby Elliott and host Chelsea Handler spotted early on by snappers. This sparkling ceremony honours the best films and television programmes from last year, hand-picked by more than 600 members at the CCA.

Ahead of the show, Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin said: "We are so proud to be recognizing this incredible group of films and the people who made them possible. This recognition comes from a diverse group of critics and entertainment reporters who share their opinions about film and TV with millions of people every day, all year."
