Despite concerns that season two of The Traitors couldn't be as good as the original, the first few weeks of the award-winning BBC reality show have been filled with excitement, drama and betrayal.

And while this year's cast all seem to think they've worked out who the traitors among them are (despite being wrong at every single round table bar one), there is one castle secret they're not even close to working out. This year there is a mother and son duo in among the Faithful - but they haven't told the rest of the players.

Diane and Ross' bombshell plot twist was revealed in episode three and fans are loving them seeing their attempts so subtly chat and cheeky comments - not to mention Ross' savage roast dinner takedown.

But viewers of the show are convinced they know how the pair's secret will be discovered, taking to Reddit to discuss their theories. Another agreed, writing: "I really reckon Ross is going to call her mum at some point, if they're both there for a while it will slip out at some point. The first few days they'll be overly aware that they can't act normal but it's hard to keep that awareness for so long."

Another replied: "I think Diane is too sensible and smart to let that slip, but ross on the other hand, wouldn't be so sure. I think it was quite telling to his character when Diane was warning him of voting for Sonja and he kinda brushed past his mother's advice, it shows that he can be kind of careless with his actions and words a little bit."

But others believe the duo will be able to keep their secret hidden until the end. One commented: "I reckon one of them will get voted out, then when they do the other one that’s left will be visibly upset. More upset than you would be over a stranger leaving. Then they will be super suspicious!"

Another added: "I’d love it if it wasn’t revealed - instead they get to the finale and screw over the other players before revealing it." Others are using the site to share their more unusual - and much funnier - ideas. One wrote: "They have an argument where Ross says 'you can't tell me what to do, you ain't my mother' and Diane yells 'yes I am!'" Another added: "Ross will be banished and Diane will cast the final vote against him and say it's because he dissed her roast, revealing him in the process."
