Alan Wake is the next survivor to join Behaviour Interactive's four vs one multiplayer slasher. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming collab.
Dead by Daylight is no stranger to adding horror icons from other video games, we've had Cheryl and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill make an appearance in-game while Resident Evil has had two full in-game seasons dedicated to it over the years. But, considering the AAA portion of the survival horror genre hasn't exactly been too crowded as of late, Dead by Daylight crossovers have mainly been focused on film and TV characters like Michael Myers (not the voice of Shrek, the other one) and Freddy Krueger.
However, following on from the highly successful launch of Alan Wake 2, which received critical acclaim and picked up four awards at The Game Awards 2023, Remedy Entertainment is teaming up with Dead by Daylight to bring Alan Wake to the game. Alan Wake is headlining Chapter 30.5 of the game later this month – Chapter 30, featuring Chucky only launched a couple of months ago, so the game is not quite ready for Chapter 31 yet.
Not only is Alan Wake arriving in-game, but brand new voice lines from his voice actor Matthew Porretta (of Robin Hood: Men in Tights fame), and he still shares the likeness of Finnish Actor Ilkka Villi.
Like any new survivor, Alan Wake has several Perks to help him survive the night, taking advantage of his previous encounters in Bright Falls and the Dark Place, Alan has a strong survival instinct. Here are the Dead by Daylight Alan Wake perks as posted on the Dead by Daylight website:
