The NFL is coming back to the UK again in 2024.
In what will be music to UK fans' ears the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars will be the three home teams to play in the capital in the 2024 regular season. The Carolina Panthers will head to Munich, Germany.
The Jaguars have played in London 12 times over recent years while the Bears will be making their return to London for a third time in the regular season. They beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2011 before losing to the Las Vegas Raiders last time around in 2019. The Vikings have a perfect 3-0 record in London.
Shad Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars said: "We certainly owe a debt of thanks to the thousands of fans in the UK, Ireland and throughout Europe who have made the Jaguars their NFL team since our first London home game in 2013."
The details of who the three teams will face, dates and kick off times are expected to be announced in the spring when the NFL releases their full regular season schedule. Following a recent vote by NFL clubs to increase league-operated international game inventory from four to up to eight games a season, beginning in 2025 the NFL will have the right to schedule up to eight regular season games per season internationally.
