Geordie Shore’s Marty McKenna has reportedly been banned from appearing on the reality TV show amid his alleged cocaine use.

The 28-year-old will now reportedly be absent from the upcoming return of MTV's spin-off series, Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series.

Marty will now reportedly be off TV screens for six months and could even be at risk of a prolonged absence from future shows if he doesn't get clean.

Marty is said to have been ‘partying hard’ of late and as a result his behaviour has reportedly ‘pushed producers too far’, resulting in the ban from MTV.

An insider told The Sun : “They've said he's not allowed back on TV for the next six months until he sorts himself out and cleans up his act.

“MTV has a firm anti-drugs policy and has already sacked Marty in the past for drug use. They won't put up with it and won't allow him back on screen for the next six months.”

The reality star was axed from Geordie Shore in 2017 after he was caught taking drugs.

He was arrested and questioned by police on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs before being released. No further action was taken.

At the time, Marty responded to the situation with fury on Twitter, writing: “So I won't be going back to @mtvgeordieshore as I've been sacked according to a few people. F***** in thing is a liftin beg from @mtvex.”

He later added: "Yeah mate funny how everyone else know before f****** me. (sic)"

Marty , who has also appeared on Ex On The Beach alongside his co-star and on/off partner Chloe Ferry, also says that after tweeting to let his fans know that he wouldn't be appearing on the show any more, his agent went into his account to delete his posts.

Marty later said he'd changed his Twitter password to prevent any more of his posts being deleted by another person.

Last year, Marty returned to TV screens on the line-up of stars looking for love on E4's Celebs Go Dating and enjoyed a flirty friendship with his co-star Ulrika Jonsson, although failed to find love.

The Mirror has contacted Marty's representatives, but they declined to comment.
