After the death of actor Adan Canto, his co-star, Halle Berry, shared a touching tribute.
Adan and Halle worked together on X-Men: Days of Future Past where he played Sunspot and she played Storm. The actress posted a photo of the late actor with the caption: "I don’t have the words just yet…. but my dear sweet friend Adan just gained his wings. Forever, forever in my heart."
X-Men wasn't the only time the pair worked together. Most recently Adan and Halle both performed roles in the 2020 MMA drama Bruised. Adan is most known for his role as gangster Arman Morales in Fox's drama series The Cleaning Lady.

The star died of appendiceal cancer at at the age of 42. His representatives said in a statement: "Adan had a depth of spirit that few truly knew. Those who glimpsed it were changed forever. He will be greatly missed by so many."

Before his life as an actor, Adan pursued his passion of music, starting a career as a singer and guitarist. The Mexican-American entered the acting world initially through some commercials before developing a hefty resume of films and television shows. He played Jeffery Bloom in The Catch and Aaron Shore in Designated Survivor.

One user who claimed to be a "close friend" penned a touching messaging, saying: "My heart goes out you my condolences very devastated of the sad news to learn about a close [and dear] sweet friend. He's in a wonderful new home place with angels forever [and dear] special home in our hearts. He was great friend beloved co-star as this journey everlasting friendship beyond in different world hoping found words of love my heart goes to his family friends fans."
A third added: "OMG I just watched him on Designated Survivor. Had no idea he was sick.. I'm so sad. Love to his family!!!!!"
