The Traitors is finally back on our screens, and fans of the award-winning show can't wait to see how bosses mix things up for season two.
While many things have stayed the same - including the stunning Ardross Castle location and host Claudia Winkleman's excellent Lady of the Manor wardrobe - fans have been warned to expect the unexpected. Another thing the producers have left are the famous breakfast scenes, which is when contestants find out who has been murdered the previous evening.
The entire group gathers around a grand dining table covered in beautiful flowers and a delicious looking spread of breakfast treats as they wait to see if their friends and allies survived the night. But a former contestant has revealed things aren't quite what they seem on the TV.
Ivan Brett, who was a Faithful on last year's show, took to X to explain. He writes: "I'm sorry guys, it's time to come clean and leak something shocking about #TheTraitors. It pains me to tell you, but that breakfast is REALLY DRY AND NOT VERY NICE."
He later hinted as to why this might be while replying to a friend's reply. The pal wrote: "Pastries going stale while you film everyone entering the room and having to say hello to fifteen people", to which Ivan replied with a bullseye emoji.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman 'sign deal' to host Strictly for two more yearsEvie Morrison, a contestant on this year's show, also replied to voice her agreement. She wrote: "Watch me still eat it though!!! the stress eating is real."
Another fan joked that the bad food was another tactic of the show. They wrote: "Of course. Nothing like slightly stale croissants to make people turn on one another. The mind games are happening at every level."
Others voiced their disappointment about the breakfast, with one writing: "Ahhhh no way hahahaa that fruit in particular looks so sumptuous!" She added a crying emoji.
Another wrote: "Wow just torpedo that fantasy for us all!"
The Traitors is back on BBC One at 9pm tonight.
