Lauren Goodger shared a TikTok video about 'deleting all her 2023 memories' after having a difficult few years.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 37, took to her TikTok page to share a mirror selfie video edited with a filter that started with the words 'Delete all memories?' on the screen. A mouse hovered over both 'yes' and 'no' before it finally picked 'yes'. The words then said 'Please wait...' in red.
Opaque screenshots of text messages then flashed across the screen as the words 'deleting...' appeared on top of the messages. She used Eurovision star Loreen's hit song Tattoo over the video. Many fans took to the comment section to praise the star for her strength and resilience.
"Incredible woman you are Lauren! Never give up girly," one user said, with Lauren responding with a 'thank you'.
Another said: "We’ve got this girl. I’m the same as you. Hope you and your beautiful girl are keeping well and safe," while one posted: "Just remember we need those bad times to appreciate the good.. always put your best foot forward and carry on, leave the past, enhance your future."
Lauren Goodger joins Katie Price and unveils 'butterfly lips' after tweakmentIn 2022, Lauren's baby Lorena, who weighed 9lb, passed away just minutes after arriving in the world, despite 10 doctors' best efforts to save her. The reality star has been open about her grief and took to social media to share tributes and emotional messages about her late daughter - whom she shared with Charles Drury. They also share a daughter named Larose.
Lauren lost Lorena just weeks after she discovered ex-boyfriend Jake McLean had died following a car crash in Turkey. She suffered through loss again when her grandfather died in April 2023. Explaining she had been to Ken's funeral, she wrote: "RIP grandad Ken. Today we said goodbye to Grandad Ken, was a beautiful send-off for you.
"Thoughts are with family today, and very proud of all the childhood memories I have with you. Heaven takes another angel." Meanwhile, Lauran and Charles had been in an on-off relationship since 2020. In August 2022, on the day of their baby’s funeral, Charles was charged with allegedly assaulting Lauren. Charles was also charged with engaging in ‘coercive' and 'controlling' behaviour - and he denied all the charges against him.
Charles is still due to face the allegations made against him via a trial which has been set to commence at Barkingside Magistrates' Court in 2024. A pre-trial hearing is due on Monday 12 February 2024 with the five-day trial expected to begin on Monday 18 March 2024.
