Gypsy Rose Blanchard welcomed in the New Year by sharing a midnight snog with her adoring husband, Ryan Scott Anderson.
The convicted criminal who ordered her online boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to stab her own mother, Dee Dee, to death, has been posting frequently on social media since her release from prison on December 28. After eight years inside the confines of a jail cell, the American captured a video of herself shooting off confetti and kissing her other half as the clock struck 12.
The murder came after years of medical abuse, with her mother making false claims about her daughter's health that resulted in a plethora of horrific diagnoses. The confessed murderer, who has amassed a whopping 5.8 million followers on Instagram, took to TikTok to plug her upcoming Lifetime docuseries and new book.

She said: "Hey everyone! Happy New Year's Eve!' I'm about to celebrate with my family. I have my dad and my stepmom, Kristy, here, and, of course, my husband. We're looking to ring in the new year together. It's going to be really awesome to have some family time after so long. So, to everyone watching, Happy New Year's Eve!"
Man in 30s dies after being stabbed in park sparking police probeIn just a matter of three days, the 32-year-old posted thirteen times, including the intimate picture of her and her husband locking lips. The image captured the notorious murderer, in a glitzy sequined dress. The woman, who ordered the hit of her mother in 2015, received a million likes in just a mere few hours. She captioned the post: "New Year's Eve kiss with my hubby."
The killer has generated a huge online presence in the years since her crime, with all her posts receiving an enormous amount of likes, despite her spending seven years behind bars in Missouri prison. It was during this time that Blanchard met her partner, who wrote her a detailed love letter in 2020.
The pair engaged in a relationship, which resulted in a wedding in 2022. Their romance has since continued in the outside world, where Blanchard has amassed a huge following. The social media sensation posted a selfie of herself on the couch, which received a humongous 2.3 million likes. She captioned the post: "She may be out of prison, but she’s still serving 24/7."
Furthermore, in a strange post, she sported a New Orleans Saints Jersey, which she captioned: Louisiana love. NFL game day," despite the fact the team didn't have a fixture.
In a recent TikTok, she spoke to her fans about her docuseries and upcoming memoir, 'Release: Conversations on the Eve of Freedom', which hits shelves on January 9.
The harrowing murder came after years of medical abuse. Dee Dee claimed her daughter was suffering from leukemia and muscular dystrophy. Consequently, she was given a wheelchair and feeding tube. The mother told medical experts that her child was suffering from seizures and asthma, as well as hearing and visual impairments, which didn't actually exist.
Experts believed Dee Dee had the mental disorder Munchausen syndrome. Because she wanted to be a caretaker, she feigned and induced illnesses on her perfectly healthy daughter. Sadly, this resulted in multiple unnecessary procedures, including the removal of Gypsy's salivary glands.
Now released from prison, Blanchard is excited for the next chapter, telling her followers: "Hi everyone – this is Gypsy. I'm finally free. I just want to send a quick video to thank everyone for the massive amount of support I've been getting on social media. Everyone has been really, really nice and supportive, and I really appreciate that.
'It's nice to be home. I'm back home in Louisiana, enjoying a beautiful day outside, and I've got a lot of great things happening really soon. 'I've got my documentary series coming out - The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard - [and] just put out an eBook that I'm super proud of. It's not a rehashing of everything that happened. It's more of a reflection."
