Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell has hit out at Prince Harry following the sensational publication of his tell-all memoir.
The Duke of Sussex wrote in his memoir Spare that the former butler had been ‘milking’ her death for money when he published his 2001 book A Royal Duty, containing a number of private revelations.
Burrell has since appeared on the Australian breakfast show Sunrise to say that Prince Harry had ‘changed fundamentally’.
Speaking from his home in Florida, he said: “I first met him in his mummy's tummy. I don't recognise the young man I see today. That's not the boy I knew.
The 64-year-old worked for Diana for ten years until her death in 1997. (Sunrise)“What I see now is an angry, petulant, privileged prince who is constantly blaming other people and not taking accountability on his part.”

The 64-year-old served as a footman for the Queen before working for Diana for ten years until her death in 1997.
He continued: “[Diana] would be angry at these personal, vindictive revelations which don't just undermine Harry, but his country, his family, the institution – which his mother was very proud of – and his late grandmother's legacy.”

He said: “This isn't just a book written by Harry… Meghan's had a huge influence in this book.
“She's beside him steering him on his path. You can't just blame Harry. You have to blame the both of them.
“I don't like to see the rug being pulled beneath the feet of our King and Harry's brother, who is on his way to being King, and the snipes that have gone forward about Kate.”

Over the weekend, Harry’s interview with ITV journalist Tom Bradby aired in a 90-minute special filmed in California, where the Duke of Sussex now lives with wife Meghan and their two children.
The exclusive interview came ahead of the release of his tell-all memoir Spare, which hits shelves on Tuesday – although the book leaked on Thursday when it was accidentally released in Spain five days early.
Harry: The Interview saw the Prince go into depth and detail on his life in the Royal Family – and also saw him exchange awkward and fiery moments with interviewer and long-time friend Tom as they dissected the past decades.
