Rochelle Humes came under fire from cruel mum-shamers who questioned one of her parenting decisions while out in the Middle East.
The Saturdays singer joined I'm A Celebrity star husband Marvin for a sun-kissed family getaway with kids Alaia-Mai, 10, Valentina Raine, six and Blake Hampton, three, in Abu Dhabi. However, some fans weren't impressed with one of Rochelle's holiday posts shared on social media.
Rochelle uploaded a black and white clip of the famous couple's children racing at their lavish resort in Dubai. "Keep going baby boy…it won’t be long until you’re at the front," the regular This Morning presenter captioned the clip as her youngest failed to catch up with his older sisters.
But the post didn't sit well with some, as a handful of Rochelle's followers urged her to "put the phone away". One commented: "Why the need to document your kids ? enjoy your time with them uninterrupted by your phone." While someone else snapped: "You always do this every year."
Her loyal audience were quick to defend the mum-of-three, with one responding: "Your children are absolutely adorable, so beautiful, you must be so proud." Another added: "It's so nice to have the memories too, my Mum and Dad recorded us on the old 'videos' and we still watch them."
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filming"The best memories made," remarked a third. While someone else said: "Hope you’re having an amazing time. Aww love this." It comes after Marvin was so emotional seeing wife Rochelle again when she came in the I'm A Celebrity camp earlier this year.
Describing the memorable moment he was reunited with his wife in the jungle, Marvin said: "When Roch came in yesterday it was a feeling I’d never experienced before in my life. I was shocked, I couldn’t believe it. I was so emotional. Seeing Rochelle in camp reminded me of our wedding day and seeing Rochelle at the end of the aisle.
"That feeling of love for my wife. That three weeks apart makes you so grateful for what you have got. Seeing her in that red chair, I had no idea, I thought I was going to do some random challenge. I looked like I had seen a ghost. I have watched it back and I’ve never seen myself pull that face before."
Marvin said the show "completely exceeded his expectations" but as well as memories he may well have some battle scars to remember his adventure by. He has visible scars all over the back of his neck and on his arms and some are from trials from weeks ago.
Marvin explained: "I struggled with green ants. The trials with all the cockroaches, the rats, the spiders, all of that was hard and not easy but the green ants but they won. Myself Nick and JL did a trial in a box and had to do the four letter words and they were chucking green ants on us. See the back of my neck that is scars from green ants. And that is three weeks old. They really took to me."
