A tiny, narrow flat has gone on the market for £1,170 per month - and as well as the compact space, you have to share the toilet with your neighbour.

The pricey bedsit comes with what looks like a fold-down bed, and minimal other furniture. However the lucky tenant does get a sink, microwave, table and chair in the long, narrow microflat. The tiny space leaves almost no distance at all between the bed and the microwave - meaning breakfast in bed is almost a requirement in this bijou pad.

A chair faces the microwave and a tiny table in photos on the listing. A cooker and a sink complete the kitchen area of the flat, which owners say features “ample” storage space. Although the space costs a staggering £1,170-per-month, it doesn’t even come with its own bathroom.

Instead, the tenant will have to share one with their neighbours in the building. Bills are included in the rent – including electricity and water. The listing reads: “A modern, clean single room situated on the lower ground floor of a well-maintained period property in Earls Court.

”The bedsit is fully furnished and benefits from laminate wooden flooring throughout, comfy bed, and ample storage space. There is a separate shared bathroom within the building. The property benefits from free Wi-Fi, free selected SKY TV channels, and free shared laundry services in the building.
