The MW3 Warzone CODMAS event will start later today, bringing a host of holiday-themed content to the title, including a less-than-merry Zombie Santa. Here's exactly what time it starts

MW3 Warzone is about to get a Christmas makeover, with Call of Duty's battle royale game set to receive its CODMAS content update later today. The MW3-inspired title will be getting new modes, new challenges, and new rewards, but probably the best thing about the MW3 Warzone CODMAS event will be the introduction of Zombie Santa, who will be taking control of the Urzikstan train and dishing out presents, or bullets, depending on how you approach it!

MW3 Warzone CODMAS will also see huge Christmas trees planted across the Urzikstan map, offering players high-quality crates, but the downside is that flares will alert other players when you visit them, and Zombie Santa itself might also make an appearance.

Here's the MW3 Warzone CODMAS start time on all platforms.

MW3 Warzone CODMAS start time

The MW3 Warzone CODMAS start time is 6pm GMT / 1pm EST / 10am PST on Tuesday, December 19, as confirmed by Activision's recent blog post.

Typically, big MW3 Warzone updates are released on a Wednesday, as is what happened with the MW3 Season 1 update, but the MW3 Warzone CODMAS update is coming 24 hours earlier than expected.

We're expecting the MW3 Warzone CODMAS event will come with a sizeable update that players will have to download before jumping into the new content, but PlayStation players and PC players using Battle.net should be able to preload the update before it goes live.

For players on Xbox and PC players using Steam, you'll likely have to wait until the MW3 Warzone CODMAS start time to launch the update, but as soon as you do, you'll be able to jump right into the Warzone Urzikstan map. That's because the MW3 Warzone CODMAS event will launch simultaneously in all regions and on all platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

I've been loving MW3 Warzone so far, and I'd go so far as to say that Warzone's magic has been restored following the launch of its third iteration, and the CODMAS event has the potential to add even more fun to the mix. Before jumping into Urzikstan, it's probably best to take a look at the best MW3 Warzone loadouts and the best MW3 Warzone graphics settings, to make sure you're ahead of the game.
