Love Island All stars is set to be fraught with drama as controversial star Olivia Hawkins has been lined up to appear in the villa.
The 28 year old star caused mayhem when she starred in the winter version of the reality dating show in South Africa, after clashing with a number of her housemates. In a few weeks, a host of well known faces from previous series will head out to the villa in the desperate hope of finding and securing a loving relationship.
And Olivia, better known as Liv, has become a favourite to sign on the dotted line after impressing bosses during her time on the programme. A source says: "Liv has had a series of meetings with Love Island bosses and they're really keen to get her in the All Stars villa. She was the most memorable and talked-about contestant on Winter Love Island earlier this year, so they know she won't be afraid to ruffle feathers and cause drama."
Speaking to The Sun, they add: "Final contracts haven't been signed yet as the cast won't officially be set in stone until early January, but Liv is looking like one of the red hot favourites to be in there." Olivia had a number of fall outs during her stint on the show which created headlines across the nation.
She became involved in a bullying row after reportedly picking on a girl who was interested in Olivia's love interest. And Zara Lackenby-Brown was one person who fell victim to Olivia's tactics after a feud erupted over Tom Clare, who they both enjoyed a relationship with.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelThen along came another feud with love rival Tanyel Revan as both women were caught talking about one another behind each other's back. Tanyel was dumped soon after. Olivia's third victim was Sanam Harrinanan after she developed a close bond with Kai Fagan during Casa Amor – despite Olivia recoupling with another man.
Olivia finally ended up with Maxwell Samuda but the pair ended up being axed from the show as part of a cruel twist. Love Island All Stars is set to air in January next year and host Maya Jama will resume her role. Olivia is the latest reality star rumoured to be joining the show, along with Georgia Steel, "Messy" Mitch Taylor and Paige Thorne. In addition stars including Faye Winter, Ovie Soko and Michael Griffiths have also reportedly been at the forefront of bosses' minds.
Being a controversial figure has resulted in Olivia being the target of online abuse. In August, she was forced to defend herself after an anonymous post blasted her for parading her glitzy lifestyle, which is apparently harmful to her young fans. The post read: "Kids and especially young people have no money these days and seeing you showing off is not helping them." In defence, Olivia hit back saying: "Never give these types of messages the time of day. No one is perfect but l've worked EXTREMELY hard my whole life to get to where I am today, nothing has ever been handed to me on a plate."
