Loose Women star and TV presenter Christine Lampard has revealed she ditched a friend after feeling 'uncomfortable' over flirting towards her husband.
Christine, who married husband Frank Lampard in 2015, revealed she was left feeling 'awkward' after a former friend was too 'touchy-feely' and 'flirty' with her footballer partner. Christine claimed her pal used to have moments of being 'sneaky' with the sportsman 'under the table.'
The TV presenter revealed she didn't confront her pal over the flirtiness, but instead 'ghosted' her as she explained she "can easily step away" and that's her usual method of dealing with things she doesn't like.

The couple tied the knot in 2015 (christinelampard /Instagram)Speaking to Closer, she said: "It was in Frank and mine's very early days, and there was a certain person, who we don't actually see anymore, who could get very flirty and touchy-feely while I was there! I found that really awkward - at least a kiss is out there and in the open but sneakiness under a table?"
She continued: "I avoid confrontation - I don't like confrontation - but I'm brilliant at ghosting. I can easily step away, and that's how I deal with things that annoy me." Christine and Frank have been together since meeting at the 2009 Pride of Britain Awards, before tying the knot six years later in 2015. The couple have two children together, with Christine also becoming a stepmother to Frank's two daughters from his previous relationship with Elen Rives.

Reflecting on how the pair first met, Christine previously told the Mirror: "It was a complete Sliding Doors moment, I still remember the first meeting as clear as day. Who goes to an awards ceremony and finds a husband? That was me! Neither of us were even meant to go, and I was late after hosting The One Show. So when we are there now we do have a celebratory glass of champagne. It’s a special evening for us."

The TV presenter said: “Being part of a blended family is lovely. I don’t remember life before it now. “When I first met Isla and Luna, they were two and four – now they’re 16 and almost 18 and have just taken their GCSEs and A Levels. They’ll call us and say: ‘We’re coming around tonight.’ They’ll jump on the train and come over."
She added: "Life is always busy, but we all manage somehow, don’t we? Mine is ‘two children busy’. Freddie has just turned two, so he’s a whirlwind. The two of them are funny and wonderful and exhausting. I think they’ve sapped every bit of energy from me, but it’s worth it."
