I’m A Celebrity viewers were convinced two campmates hated each other after an awkward jibe in the finale.

Tony Bellew took aim at fellow finalist Nigel Farage on Sunday night, leaving him stunned. Tony was facing his last ever Bushtucker Trial of the ITV series, as he faced Farage and Sam Thompson in the final.

But as his gross trial got underway, he began shouting out at hosts Ant and Dec and his co-stars. As Sam tried to encourage him, he told his new pal to "pretend he was Nigel", resulting in an awkward jibe.

Sam said: "Just pretend you're Nigel," to which Tony quickly shouted back: "No thanks." As the hosts laughed, a shocked Nigel said back: "Charming..."

Viewers watching the moment at home were in hysterics, with many calling for Tony to win the series. Others took it as a sign of a jungle feud, believing the pair "hated each other". One fan wrote: "Nigel and tony officially hate each other," as another said: "The camp mates really do hate Nigel."

The final kicked off on Sunday night hours after the elimination of another favourite on the ITV series, as the finalists were confirmed. This Morning star Josie Gibson screamed with delight as she learned from hosts Ant and Dec she would be leaving the show at the final hurdle, and just a day before the final.

She confessed she was glad to be out, and made it pretty clear she wanted either Tony or Sam to be crowned the winner over Farage. Both times she was asked about the finalists, she avoided talk of Farage and heaped praise on Tony and Sam, wanting either of them to be crowned King of the Jungle.

Another two show favourites who left earlier than expected were EastEnders star Danielle Harold and JLS singer Marvin Humes, while fans also loved Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard. Farage being kept on the show, never mind not being first out, certainly shocked viewers with many complaining online about the vote.

Some even threatened to switch off for good if Farage was announced the winner. Taking to X, one viewer said: “If Nigel wins this I’m done with this show!!! He should of been gone ages ago.”

Another agreed: “oh i am f***ing done with this stupid show why the f**k is n!gel still there.” A third added: “So if Farage wins I’m out. Can’t believe he made it to the final three over Josie!”
