It's Christmas party season and the Coronation Street cast made a concerted effort to glam up on their festive night out.
The ladies in particular put on a stunning display as they showed off their glitzy outfits at Manchester's Refuge bar on Friday, December 7. Dressed up to the nines, the girls posed for photos before heading into the party.
Tina O'Brien, 40, plays Sarah Barlow in the soap and she looked incredible in her red mini dress. The strapless top consisted of a corset adorned with sequins, while the skirt was a huge satin bow. Teamed with open toe heels and a glittery purse, she accessorised the outfit with delicate gold accessories.
Lucy Fallon, 28, joined her, wearing a sheer black bodysuit under a royal blue velvet blazer. She added knee-high stockings and heels with jewelled bows to complete her look. Lucy and her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson welcomed their first baby back in January.
Tanish Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan on the show, wore her glossy dark hair down over her brown maxi dress. Channique Sterling-Brown - who portrays Dee-Dee Bailey - joined the three of them for a photo, wearing a black sequin-embellished mini dress.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesOpting for a grungey look, Mollie Gallagher looked gorgeous in a leopard print slip, under a full-length maroon PVC jacket and a pair of olive green platform boots. She has played Nina Lucas in Corrie since November 2019. Jennie McAlpine, aka Fiz Brown also made an appearance on the night out, wearing a blue jumpsuit - she welcomed her third baby back in April.
Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgely, wore a pair of velvet flares with a satin style bomber jacket and platform boots. Meanwhile, Summer Spellman actor Harriet Bibby went for a bit of festive sparkle, pairing a silver glittery top with a black miniskirt, complete with a feathered hem.
Christmas on the cobbles is always a dramatic affair, and this year is no different for the residents of Weatherfield. Alan Halsall, who has played Tyrone Dobbs for the last 25 years, will be taking a break from the street, stepping away over Christmas. And he's not the only one - long-running on-off couple Peter Barlow and Carla are set for upheaval, as Peter decides he's had enough of the street and is ready to move on to pastures new.
Iain MacLeod, the soap's executive producer, said that Boxing Day is when it all comes to a head.
As reported by Digital Spy, he said: "They reach this enormous fork in the road where they love each other, but perhaps their happiness is no longer reliant on each other. Maybe they start to wonder if they'd be happier in some other situation somewhere else, basically."
