The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have made the playoffs this season, but it's been far from a positive campaign from Tom Brady and his side.
The Buccaneers join an exclusive list of NFL teams to make the post-season despite holding a negative record, and Sunday's 30-17 defeat to Atlanta Falcons meant they finished the regular campaign at 8-9. However, they had already clinched the NFC South due to the lack of quality within the division.
It's rumoured that Brady could retire at the end of the season, but thankfully for the 45-year-old he will at least have another shot of reaching the Super Bowl. But that doesn't mean he's avoided humiliation, as records start to go against the legendary quarterback.
Brady has already surrendered a few records this season, including an impressive stat he held when heading into the final two minutes of games in the NFL. The Buccaneers lost to the Cleveland Browns back in November, despite leading by seven points when the two-minute warning was declared.
It became the first time he had ever lost an NFL game when leading by seven points or more heading into the final two minutes. Despite making his debut in 2000, Brady had never lost when heading into the last two minutes when leading by at least seven points, but that streak came to an end, stopping a run of 218 games.

But now Brady has another unwanted first, as Sunday's result meant that for the first time in his 23-year career he ended the regular season with a negative record. Brady is still said to be loving his football, but some fans feel as though his decision to come out of retirement may now be seem as a regret.

The newly single 45-year-old has been tipped to finally retire after this season, but there's no reason to suggest why he wouldn't carry on - whether that be with the Buccaneers or not. Brady has been linked with a move to Las Vegas Raiders in recent weeks, and a return to New England Patriots has been teased ever since he left the franchise in 2020.
However, that all rests in Brady's hands, and it could also depend on how the playoffs go with the Buccaneers. Brady won't want to bow out after a disappointing run, but with certain records coming to an end this season, he may quit while he's ahead.
