Joe Mixon is likely to receive a fine from the NFL for his savage celebration on Sunday, but he's for sure got his moneys worth.

The Cincinnati Bengals running-back scored their opening touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens, and was clearly prepared for if the inevitable happened. Mixon has a real coin tucked into his sock, and brought it out when scoring to do a coin flip in the endzone.

The Bengals have been furious this week after the NFL announced that something as simple as a coin flip could be used to determine home advantage in the playoffs if they were to lose against the Ravens. And Mixon also spoke out about the issue, and mocked the league after scoring on Sunday.

It's been anything but a normal week in the NFL, as Monday's harrowing events have sent everyone into shock. Monday's prime time between the Bengals and the Buffalo Bills was meant to be a classic, but ended in devastating circumstances.

Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest in the first quarter, and the game was cancelled as a result. Hamlin has thankfully responded well in hospital, but after the NFL confirmed the game would be called a no contest, they've had a lot to figure out in terms of playoff seeding.

The Bills have lost their no.1 seed advantage to the Kansas City Chiefs, but the league have stated that if they meet in the AFC Championship, the game will be played on neutral ground as compensation. But the Bengals felt as though they had been hard done by, after a permutation was announced that could see them lose home advantage via a coin flip.

The NFL stated that If the Bengals were to the Ravens on Sunday, and the Chargers beat the Broncos, the Bengals would face the Ravens on Super Wild Card Weekend. The NFL said: "The Bengals, as division champions, would typically have home-field advantage in this scenario. But because Baltimore will have then beaten Cincinnati twice this season, and the two teams will have played an unequal number of games, the approved resolution calls for the site of the game to be determined by a coin flip."

The Bengals were furious, with head coach Zac Taylor saying: "It seems like there are positives for a lot of teams and just negatives for us." And Mixon even brought out the rule book on Twitter, and tweeted: "So we not following the rules no more?"

And to add to his tweet, he mocked the decision with an on-field coin flip after rushing into the endzone against the Bengals. It looks like their frustrations won't continue though, as the Bengals raced into a huge lead over the Ravens early on.
