Meryl Streep made a rare appearance with all of her children at the 2023 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 74-year-old was seen with her son Henry Wolfe and her three daughters Mamie Gummer, 40, Grace Gummer, 37, and Louisa Jacobson, 32. The family reunion was joined by Streep's in-laws, Henry’s wife, Tamryn Storm Hawker, and Grace’s husband, Mark Ronson.
Meryl attended the event as one of the several celebrity honourees at the event. She was presented with the Academy Museum Gala Icon Award by former co-worker Greta Gerwig.

In a statement given to The Mirror, Meryl's representative revealed: "Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart."

This came after Page Six first reported on the couple's split. Meryl, who is famed for her many film credits in hit blockbuster flicks like Mamma Mia! and The Devil Wears Prada, was first introduced to Don by her brother back in 1978. After getting married in that same year and then starting their family in the years that followed, the family moved into a lavish private estate in Connecticut in 1985.
After residing in their $1.8 million private estate in Connecticut, they then bought a $3million mansion in Brentwood, Los Angeles, in 1990 before later moving back to Connecticut.

But when asked about her marriage in 2002, she said that the secret behind their long union was: "Goodwill and willingness to bend — and to shut up every once in a while."
At the time, in the chat with Vogue, she added: "There’s no road map on how to raise a family: It’s always an enormous negotiation. But I have a holistic need to work and to have huge ties of love in my life."
