Liverpool defeated Fulham 4-3 on Sunday... but only just.
Jurgen Klopp's side took the lead in the 20th minute when Trent Alexander-Arnold's free kick hit the underside of the bar on its way in. Harry Wilson then equalised against his former club before Alexis Mac Allister produced a stunning strike from 25 yards out.
Kenny Tete scored on the stroke of half-time to make it 2-2, and Fulham thought they had nicked all three points when Bobby De Cordova-Reid scored in the 80th minute. Yet two goals in two minutes from Wataru Endo and Alexander-Arnold settled the game.
All four of Liverpool's goals were of the highest quality. The result leaves the title hopefuls third in the Premier League table, just two points behind leaders Arsenal. Here is the best of the reaction from Sunday's thrilling game on Merseyside...
Klopp has confirmed Joel Matip is expected to be out for an extended period after he suffered an ankle injury against Fulham. The defender tried to play on after hurting himself while clearing the ball in the second half and needed to be substituted.
Chelsea complete record-breaking Enzo Fernandez transfer after deadline day rushKlopp was asked for an update on Matip's injury after his team's dramatic victory at Anfield. He said: "We lost Joel. We obviously have no scan yet but after what you hear and can see, that will not be a short one. Unlucky but we have to get through this."
On the game itself, Klopp added: "I don't think I ever saw a game with this amount of beautiful goals. We scored incredible goals today, but because we were a bit dumb we almost gave it away... the defending was awful. Football is decided in details."
