I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have voted the first star out of the Australian jungle.
Since Saturday night, Brits had been voting to save their favourite to keep them in the jungle. However, as the results closed during the latest episode of the ITV show, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed that Frankie Dettori had become the first to be evicted by the public.
Frankie is the third celebrity to leave the programme after food critic Grace Dent walked out before American singer and actress Jamie Lynn Spears quit on medical grounds before flying back to San Francisco.
The jockey, 52, arrived as a late entry on the show alongside ex-boxer Tony Bellew, but he failed to make a big impression on the series. He managed the lowest number of votes and therefore had to leave camp.
Hearing the news, he said: "YESS! I'm going home, I love you all. I'm going to be sat watching you. Imagine the breakfast I am going to have" while Nigel Farage joked: "This is a fix Frankie you were last in and first out."
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesFrankie spoke to hosts Ant and Dec about his time in the jungle before being greeted by his wife, Catherine, on the iconic jungle bridge. Speaking to Ant and Dec, Frankie admitted he was a bit disappointed to be the first to go but loved being on the show.
He said: "It's been so surreal, what an adventure. It really hit me when we got the letters. You forget there is a world out there and people are out there watching you."
He added: "Emotions are up and down, I have been dieting for 30 years but this takes it to another level. You just need some fuel in your stomach, you feel your body shutting down. So every time you get the rice it puts you back up. It has been challenging, I will be honest with you."
Viewers were left gutted to see Frankie go, taking to Twitter, now X, to share their thoughts. One person said: "Gutted Frankie has left #ImaCeleb", a different account put: "Frankie is the first out! #ImACeleb" with shocked emojis while another added: "No way should Frankie have been the first out #ImACeleb!"

On being first out he said: "I am disappointed yes, but I did nearly two weeks and beat my fears of enclosed spaces and snakes all in the same task. I met some wonderful people and it's been a fantastic experience." Asked who should win, Frankie said: "I think Sam will win, he is larger than life character and completely nuts."
Frankie entered the show with Tony during episode five and the pair were made coaches of two teams battling in sporting competition to win food. He got off to a great start in the 'Scarena’ as he won the head-to-head trial Don't Drop The Ball, where he completed an obstacle course carrying pigs’ testicles in his mouth.
His team got the home camp and also won a bumper breakfast at the end of the challenge, but aside from this game, Frankie's highlights in recent days in camp have been few and far between.
He told how he learned English watching EastEnders when he came to England as a youngster learning to be a jockey and he also took on the Dreaded Beds trial with Nella Rose when a snake almost slithered into his pants. But the trial went badly and they won zero coins, as they played to win luxury items.
This week he came back to camp with Josie Gibson as a hero after they won crumpets and butter in a Kiosk Kev challenge. Before entering camp, Frankie had insisted appearing on the show was not about money - as his kids would all want a slice of that - but more about the adventure. And he admitted he had no idea if he could win, despite winning hundreds of races in his career.
Richard 'shuts up' GMB guest who says Hancock 'deserved' being called 'd***head'At the time, he said: "It's a very hard question to answer because what do you have to do to win? I don't understand that. I mean my philosophy is go down there, be myself, try to win tasks to feed the camp and to keep as a unit and that's it.
"So what do you need to do to win? Is it popularity? Or is it because you're in the trials or because you’re argumentative, I really don't know. It's a lifetime experience." After a holiday in Australia with his wife, he will now head to America where he will continue his career as a flat jockey, with his first races on Boxing Day.
