Another stop on the Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour has been announced, and it’s due to hit one of England’s largest cities in a matter of days.
The popular festive attraction kicked off its tour of the UK last Friday, starting in Glasgow at the Silverburn Shopping Centre, before heading to Edinburgh, on Saturday, at Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre. From there, Coca-Cola’s truck will head to Leeds today, but now another new stop has been announced.
Continuing its efforts to spread the festive feeling, the truck will reach Liverpool on December 1. There the truck will bring the Christmas giveaways with thousands of gifts up for grabs. Alongside that, there are interactive experiences for visitors.
The tour kicked off last week and is due to hit 17 stops this yearThis year's Coca-Cola truck tour stops so far:
- Glasgow - Friday 24 November at Silverburn Shopping Centre
- Edinburgh - Saturday 25 November at Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre
- Dublin - Thursday 30 November to Sunday 3 December at RDS Simmonscourt
- Leeds - Thursday November 30 at White Rose Shopping Centre
- Liverpool - Friday December 1 at Liverpool ONE
- Belfast - Friday 8 December to Sunday 10 December at Titanic Slipway
This year, the Truck Tour features its new Snow Globe, where families can enjoy a Winter Wonderland and win prizes. The "Ho-Ho-Hoop hut" will let visitors participate in different games and win fun rewards including meals and recycled Christmas decorations. As well as that, visitors can also enjoy the Coca-Cola Christmas choir performing a set of classical carols.
Alongside the tour, Coca-Cola has teamed up with Neighbourly, a charity supporting local communities and inspiring acts of kindness to those most in need. Those looking to make a difference this Christmas will be able to donate online or use the QR code at the Truck Tour to contribute to the Neighbourly Foundation. At today's stop in Leeds, visitors will be supporting Rainbow Junktion Community Cafe and Foodshare.

The tour will have 17 stops this year - meaning there are 13 more still yet to be announced - and this includes eight new stops compared to last year. The rest of the dates are yet to be announced, but last year the popular festive attraction stopped off at:

- Manchester
- Bristol
- Bradford
- Cardiff
- Leeds
- Wolverhampton
- Coventry
- Sheffield
- Leeds
- Watford
- Baldock
- East Leake
Unlike previous years where people would just turn up at the venue and hope for a spot, this year guests are being asked to buy tickets for both the Dublin and Belfast events. For both events tickets are limited to four per person and the €2 charge is being donated to charity, but a booking fee of €1.14 per ticket means you need to pay €3.14 to attend.
There are two slots either 2pm to 5pm or 6pm to 9pm. Tickets are available from Eventbrite. The Mirror can reveal that all other stops on the tour - except Dublin and Belfast - will be free events, as in previous years.
