I'm A Celebrity turned awkward tonight - as hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly made a huge blunder.

Nick Pickard and Nigel Farage were the latest two campmates to face a Bushtucker Trial as they headed to the trial clearing for In Too Deep. When they arrived, they were asked: "Why do you think it was you two voted for to come down and join us today?"

Nigel then said: "Don’t know. They kept picking all the women, so I guess it was time for the blokes to have a go. I can’t see any other reason," as Tony admitted: "We are hungry. It’s always nice to bring back the bacon for the guys if we can."

Dec then explained the challenge, telling the pair: "This is In Too Deep. It takes place in these two giant water tanks behind you. You’ll need to free those stars that are trapped at the bottom. You do this by releasing the spanners that are up there on the side of the tank. Then you’ll use them to unscrew the bolts that are holding the stars in place. When the stars are removed, you can collect them and get them in your bag. Only stars in your bag at the end of the Trial will count.

"You’ll take it in turns collecting one star at a time. This is a Bushtucker Trial, expect the unexpected," Ant added, "You’ve got 11 minutes to get 11 stars. You can stop the Trial at any point by saying ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ and we’ll stop the Trial, but then you will forfeit any further stars. The other celebrity can play on to get their stars, but with half the time. And of course, you don’t have to do it. You can say, ‘No thanks lads’ but you’ll go back to camp empty-handed."

As they both decided to give it a go, it was clear Nigel was struggling with water element and eventually he decided to quit the trial, leaving Nick to go at it alone for the rest of the time. However, things soon turned awkward when Ant got Nick's name wrong.

Instead of calling him Nick, he called him Tony, which is his name in Hollyoaks. Nick has played Tony Hutchinson on the Channel 4 soap for decades and joked back he was used to the error, as everyone called him by his character name.

Taking to Twitter, fans responded to the error, with one joking: "Ant calling Nick ‘Tony’. You just know that Tony Hutchinson would be thrilled at receiving a mention on national TV. #ImaCeleb #Hollyoaks," as a second added: "To be fair he’s been Tony longer than he was Nick #ImACeleb." A third added: "Tbf I always call Nick, Tony when I’m watching this haha #ImaCeleb #ImACelebrity."
