Fred Sirieix will be "heartbroken" following his dramatic clash with Nella Rose on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! according to his pal.
Last week, viewers saw Nella and Fred clash after he made a tongue-in-cheek comment about their age difference which the YouTube star appeared to be left enraged over. Nella was furious as she claimed Fred made an insensitive comment, knowing that her father had died.
While cooking dinner for their campmates, the duo started talking about their ages and Fred mentioned how their age gap meant he could be her dad. Nella said she felt 'disrespected' by the comment and confronted Fred about it afterwards.
Following the row, Nella took to the Bush Telegraph to say: "I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad's passed away. I didn't say anything about it last night because I was kind of just annoyed about it."
Nella also confronted Fred and told him he was being 'disrespectful'. She said: "I don’t want to eat no food that you’re cooking, don’t talk to me, you stay over there, I stay over here and we can live." Fred apologised to her and said: "I am unaware that you felt offended. I am unaware that what I said would lead to this conversation, I only said that in a way because I am older than you, I am 51 and you're 26." But Fred's First Dates pal, Laura Tott has given an insight into how he would have been feeling after the incident.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesSpeaking to OK! Magazine, Laura said: "It was a really uncomfortable watch. I just felt sorry for Fred because I know how upset he would have been thinking he’d offended someone. He'll be heartbroken. We saw how much he was apologising.
"At the moment it sounds like their friendship is done. But the thing is, people deal with grief differently, and tensions are rising in there because they're not eating or sleeping properly. Fred just wants to have fun. He won't want there to be an atmosphere. He’ll keep trying and if she wants to makeup, he'll be so happy. He doesn't hold a grudge."
Meanwhile, in the latest episode of the ITV show, Fred shared his plans for Tony Bellew's birthday, as the heavyweight boxer will turn 41 on November 30, during his stint in the jungle. Speaking to YouTube personality Nella Rose, he said: "We are going to do a little production, a little event for him. Marvin and Jamie are singing."
Nella is adamant that she will be a backing dancer, while JLS singer Marvin Humes revealed that Liverpudlian Bellew is a huge fan of the boyband and their song, Love You More. Although she introduced herself as a singer, Jamie Lynn Spears appeared to be over the moon as she told the Bush Telegraph that she was "excited" to be part of the band ahead of Tony's birthday celebration.
