A woman is considering calling off her wedding to her fiancé after a series of arguments over the catering.
Weddings are supposed to be a joyful experience to celebrate the coming together of two people, and their families. It's also the moment your married life starts, and marks the start of a brand new chapter for you and your partner.
But now one bride-to-be is calling into question her entire relationship after seeing another side of her fiancé in the build-up to their big day. The woman in question is engaged to a vegan, but it has never been a problem in their relationship; even when they started cooking together at home.
But after the proposal, things seemed to change. After the man proposed and they started the wedding planning, he told his future wife that he didn't feel comfortable serving meat at the wedding reception. He further stated that a lot of his family are also vegan and that they would be "offended to even be around meat".
She explained: "He allows meat in our home so it makes no sense to me that he would want to ban it from our wedding. I know my friends and family are going to be miserable at the idea of attending a vegan dinner – but when I raised that, he made it seem like his family is the only one that matters."

The 'stubborn' way he has dealt with the issue has really upset his fiancée, who says she has seen another side to him since it all began. She is now worried she has made a terrible mistake in agreeing to marry him and is now considering calling the whole thing off.
Best-selling author Jane Green responded to her dilemma in her Daily Mail agony aunt column. And she said the issue is a signifier of bigger problems in the relationship - not least because marriage should be about compromise.
She advised the woman that it's not the veganism that's the issue, it's the fact he's not willing to consider a compromise when half the guests will be meat-eaters. Jane also expressed surprise about his stance, considering he has allowed meat in their home.
She concluded: "This wedding is about both of you, and both of you have equal needs. Should he not have any willingness to compromise, I would suggest that you may have discovered his fatal flaw. Be very grateful to have discovered it before you got married rather than after."
