Rumer Willis has shared a throwback snap of parents Bruce Willis and Demi Moore the day after admitting she “misses her papa” in a tearjerking post.

Rumer, the eldest of Bruce and Demi’s three daughters, shared a vintage picture of her parents, who were married from 1987 to 2000, embracing on a Malibu beach in 1991 to her Instagram story.

In February, his family announced that 68-year-old Bruce had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which causes changes to personality, behaviour, language and movement.

In a statement, they wrote: "Bruce has always found joy in life - and has helped everyone he knows to do the same. It has meant the world to see that sense of care echoed back to him and to all of us."
