Lottie Moss has opened up about her nonexistent relationship with her world famous older sister, Kate Moss, explaining that they were never close.
At 25-years-old, Lottie is half the age of 49-year-old Kate and the duo have had a strained relationship over the years. Lottie and Kate share the same father; former travel agent Peter Moss.
While Peter and Kate’s mum, former barmaid Linda Shepherd, divorced in 1987, Kate has remained close to her dad. He went on to marry Scandinavian beauty Inger Solnordal, and Lottie arrived in 1998. Lottie was a bridesmaid at Kate’s wedding when she married rock star Jamie Hince in 2011, and she became a model herself soon after.

Lottie now rakes it in on OnlyFans (LottieMoss/Instagram)However, the two ladies have lived an estranged life at best, while Lottie has opened up in the past about how she and Kate were never close. Now, in a new interview, Lottie has suggested there was a performative element to their upbringing where their parents tried to play ‘happy families’.
When asked if she ever turns to Kate for advice, Lottie told The Matt Haycox Show Podcast: "No we just never really spoke honestly. It's always been that way, I never was sad about it really. You know obviously it's not great to hear that someone doesn't really care for a relationship with you... but you know we we'd see each other at Christmases and things like that and play family a little bit."

Lottie went on to explain that she has never been close to her older sister. The Celebs Go Dating star said: "I'd never really known her so it wasn't like I was losing someone. It was never really like she chose to leave, she's 20 years older than me she's got every right to live her own life, she doesn't need to hang around with me."
Lottie then went on to explain that her love for shopping has meant she is far from wealthy - unlike her older sister who is worth a reported £56 million. When Lottie began her own modelling career at the age of 16, she made a not too shabby £14,000 on her first job - but quickly spent it all.
She explained: "I spent every penny of what I made back then, everything, and it's one of my biggest regrets in life. Now I've got money in my account but honestly for a lot of years I really struggled because I was just spending and spending. For the longest time when I was you know 18,19, 20 whenever, when I was just making money, I don't have to look at price tags, I was just spending. I thought it was an unlimited supply of money and it turns out that's not real!"
Her latest comments come months after she hit out at the suggestion she was a ‘nepo baby’ who must have extreme wealth due to her multi-millionaire sister. She said via a Newsweek column back in March: "I think a common misconception is that because Kate, who is 24 years older than me, is rich and famous, so were my family. But obviously, that was her money and her fame, not ours.
"How do I say to people that I don't know her and that she doesn't reply to my texts? I honestly think the whole "nepo baby" concept is so weird; there are so many people in the world that have had obvious advantages in their career because of who they know or who someone in their family is, not just famous people."
