Fried chicken chain KFC is to open ten new restaurants and drive-thrus by early next year.
The fast food giant will unveil five new stores before the end of this year, while the remaining five will open early in the New Year. It comes as part of plans for KFC to open new restaurants, or relocate existing branches, across 500 locations in the UK.
Last year, KFC listed hundreds of sites on its website where it wants to open new branches - with plans for more full-size restaurants and drive-thrus. The new restaurants planned to open in the next few months are:
Birch East - December
Hilton Park North - December

Medway - December
Grantham - New Year
Southwaite North (Carlisle) - New Year

A spokesperson for KFC told The Sun : "We strive to reach as many of our loyal fans as possible, which is why we're so excited to confirm these five new restaurants opening this year - as well as five more in the New Year. We can't wait to get settled in these local areas and bring many new jobs to those communities too."
KFC has just launched a new stuffing burger as part of its Christmas 2023 menu. The Stuffing Stacker Burger features two Original Recipe chicken fillets, with a patty of sage and onion stuffing on top, spicy cranberry sauce, cheese and burger dressing in a soft brioche bun.

Prices start from £7.99 - but keep in mind this will vary across the country, depending on which restaurant you go to. The Stuffing Tower Burger contains all the same festive ingredients, but with just one Original Recipe chicken fillet and is priced from £6.49. Both burgers will be available from December 13 until January 1.
KFC has over 900 restaurants across the UK and Ireland - you can find your nearest one by using its store finder tool online. KFC is also available for home delivery through Uber Eats, Just Eat and its own delivery channel.
Each delivery service will have varying prices and they normally come with extra fees that you’ll need to pay - meaning it’s a more expensive way of getting your KFC fix.
