Married At First Sight's Laura had a savage message for 'husband' Arthur at the vows renewal ceremony during Monday's episode.
The newlyweds reunited on the E4 reality show tonight to confirm if they would be continuing their marriage off-screen, after spending some much-needed time apart to reflect on their future together. Arthur, 34, led the way by gushing over Laura and revealing that he wanted to still be her husband in the real world.
The tennis coach, who is originally from Poland, said, "I promise to treat you with the respect, kindness and compassion that you deserve," before thanking his bride with the touching sign off, "You're one special human being." Despite praising Arthur for his improvement from his first vows, which he admitted he had downloaded from the Internet, it quickly became clear that Laura didn't share his desire to stay married.

It's safe to say that when we're good, we're great," she said. "However, during our time together I found myself struggling to see the real Arthur. At times it feels like you haven't been honest with me or yourself.
"We've had to battle a lot opinion and face lots of criticism from the group. I have to be honest and say I've been troubled by a nagging doubt. I've felt I've carried our relationship forward on my own, and I've worried that I've begun to lose myself in the process. I know you say that I brought the best out in you, but have you always brought the best out of me? Being away from you has given me time to reflect on us. One thing it did show me is how much I miss you when you aren't by myself."

Laura didn't share Arthur's desire to continue the marriageThe positive note was quickly replaced by a negative, however, as Laura admitted that her best friends had made her consider their viability as a couple in reality. She confessed: "Speaking to my friends over the last couple of days has reminded me of the person I am. I know we're grown as individuals during this process, the more I grow as a person, the more I grow apart from you.
"I've always been a fixer, but this relationship is something that can't be fixed. you've helped me realise what i don't want. I'm giving this back. thank you for helping me realise who I am. You will be perfect for someone, but it won't be me." She then immediately walked away from a teary Arthur, who told the cameras the rejection had left him feeling "c**p".
It didn't take long for the Internet to weigh in on Laura's brutal shutdown, with many taking to X to share their reactions. "Laura’s vows were soooo harsh I feel so sorry for how Arthur has been treated," one person wrote, while another said, "The way Laura treated Arthur in those last 5 minutes finally shows what we could see from the start. Im glad she loves who she is because shes not going to find many other people who will."
Not everyone agreed Laura's speech was cruel, however. One person wrote: "Good on you Laura, no one talks about how hard it choose yourself in situations like this. Arthur is lovely and a good match but not the best for her."
