A woman who has 22 children says she is broody for more and dreams of having dozens with her wealthy husband.

Christina Ozturk, 26, has had one child naturally with partner Galip, 58, and a further 21 via surrogates in their coastal town of Batumi in the former Soviet republic of Georgia. A couple of years ago they mentioned on social media they wanted 105 babies - and now they are convinced they might go through with it. Their current brood are named Victoria, Mustafa, Maryam, Irene, Alice, Hassan, Judy, Harper, Hussein, Teresa, Anna, Isabella, Ismail, Mehmet, Ahmet, Ali, Christina, Alyona, Sarah, Lokman, Alparslan and Olivia.

She previously said: “I don't know how many they will eventually be, but we certainly don't plan to stop at 10. We just not ready to talk about the final number. Everything has its time." In the latest Instagram post, Christina wrote: “My husband and I put in all our efforts to raise our children healthy, happy, honest people, filling their hearts with light and kindness! After all, our children are the future of the world. They are our happiness! Each of them gives warmth and love!”

However, the couple might have to wait as it was reported Galip was earlier this year sentenced to eight years in prison. The young mum, who is originally from Moscow, Russia, was a single mother when she decided to take a break to the subtropical paradise referred to as the 'Las Vegas of the Black Sea'. She said it was love at first sight when she met Galip on the first day there, and described him as her "mentor, guide and fairytale prince all rolled into one".

For his part, he confirmed it was love at first sight as well, adding: “She is so easy to be with, she always has a smile on her lips and yet at the same time is shy and mysterious. She was the kind of wife I always wanted for myself, an uncut diamond where I saw what a pure and kind heart she had.”

When the couple met they agreed they wanted as many children as possible, but they were ambitious and decided her reproductive ability was not enough to meet their demands so they decided to use surrogate mothers, which works out at a cost of around EUR 8,000 (£7,000) for everything involved. A clinic deals with the surrogate mothers, while Christina and Galip monitor health indicators and set a meal plan during pregnancy. The couple only choose young women who have already had at least one pregnancy, and have no addictions. Georgia has allowed surrogacy since 1997 as long as the couple involved are heterosexual and married. While still using surrogates, Christina has not ruled out having other babies herself but said it currently not practical while IVF is a big strain on her body.
