For many brides, finding their bridesmaid in bed with their husband would be a truly devastating prospect, but for swinger Katey, sharing her husband Dan isn't something that fazes her. In fact, although her family doesn't approve, their unusual set-up has proven to be the right choice for them, and it's even helped them connect with new friends.

During a sexual retreat, Katey and Dan met fellow swingers Kirsty and Tom, and it wasn't long until the foursome hit it off. The two couples will often sleep together, and they're also all very good friends, so much so that Katey even asked Kirsty to be her bridesmaid. Opening up about their wedding night in an episode of Truly's Love Don't Judge, Katey revealed that they ended up taking one of her pals back to their bedroom with them, describing the raunchy encounter as "really fun".

She continued: "She's one of my best friends, so it was really comfortable". Dan added: "And to do it on such a special day, it just makes it so memorable". Sadly, Katey has also had to deal with some downsides to her chosen way of life, with her disapproving family even refusing to attend her wedding.

Katey and Dan's swinger friends Kirsty and Tom met nine years ago, and love quickly blossomed. It wasn't until two years ago however that they opened up to each other about their racey sexual fantasies, with both partners confessing they wanted to bring others into the bedroom. This life-altering conversation led to them entering the world of swinging, and they haven't looked back since.

For Kirsty and Tom, their open relationship is a point of pride, and they believe sleeping with other people has ultimately brought them closer together. Tom, who describes their close bond with Katey and Dan as "just like a normal friendship, but with benefits", reflected: "I think for me, I enjoy it the most because of how it's brought us together." Agreeing with this conclusion, Kirsty reflected: "I think there's a lot of couples that want to do it but don't know how to tell the partner."

During particularly "busy" weeks, Kirsty and Tom will sleep with "maybe four or five" individuals and will get intimate with both men and women. Far from being jealous of seeing her husband with other women, Kirsty very much enjoys their understanding, revealing: "I love sharing my husband. It's more like a little proud moment for me."
