Australian Marvel actor Eka Darville’s son has tragically died at the age of 10 after being diagnosed with aggressive glioneuronal brain cancer.
The much-loved actor, 34, who is best known for his appearances on Power Rangers RPM and Marvel’s Jessica Jones and The Defenders, decided to put his career on hold to care for his beloved son, Mana, after the diagnosis.
After doctors told the devastated family that there was nothing more they could do in Australia, the actor and his wife Lila moved their family to America for treatment. While there, brave Mana underwent high-risk marathon surgery to remove as much as possible of tumour.
Eka kept his followers updated on Mana's condition, however, they were left saddened to hear that after the surgery, the tumour was rapidly growing back as the young boy was fighting his hardest.
The Australian actor recently asked fans to keep Mana in their prayers. Sadly, Mana's heartbroken grandmother took to social media on Monday to reveal that her precious ten-year-old son had sadly passed away after his brave battle with cancer.

"You can imagine the amount of sadness and grief of Eka, Lila and Lila's parents, his grandparents, myself, his little brothers. But at the same time, there's a lot of joy. There's a lot of peace. There's a lot of stillness in the house after such a long struggle for 463 days since the whole ordeal began.
"And now he's free. Now he's dancing in the light. We all see it, we feel it and I know that many of you, like myself, loved Mana eternally."
The devastated grandmother went on to describe Mana as a uniques child, like nobody else she has ever met. "Mana managed to touch more hearts than most do in a whole lifetime."
And he will continue to touch hearts with his story, courage and strength and wisdom coming in to the highest frequencies of the ascended masters, the angelic realms, the angels, the light help guide man to pour our love into his soul."
She went on to reveal that Mana's two younger brothers are heartbroken by the loss of their special older brother, but she believes that Mana will now be watching over Zion and Axé forever.
"Axé was so upset this morning and we went outside and there was this gentle rain, it was really warm rain, we went outside and then there was this beautiful big rainbow right through the sky," she shared. "And Zion said it's Mana's rainbow, Mana's rainbow."
"And we stood there in the rain and the two boys sang in the rain and I knew that Mana is always gonna be watching over those two boys and bringing them into joy in their hearts again and again and again," she added.
In July 2022 when Mana collapsed on a beach and suffered a seizure that left the right side of his body paralysed. He was misdiagnosed with Focal Cortical Dysplasia, by doctors - a brain abnormality which they told his family had been there since birth.
However, Mana continued to suffer daily seizures and an MRI eventually revealed two large tumours growing in his brain.
