Ed Westwick has opened up about his blossoming romance with actress girlfriend Amy Jackson - and says marriage and kids are on the cards.
The 36-year-old Gossip Girl star has been in a relationship with 31-year-old Supergirl actress since 2021. The pair met at Silverstone racetrack during an event hosted by Aston Martin where they raced each other on the track - and then sped off together into the sunset.
Now Ed says he pictures a future with Amy and hopes to one day start a family with her. The pair had been living in London but recently moved to the countryside an hour outside of the capital and are renovating a home together. While looking to the future, Ed said he hopes to be able to welcome babies into the new home that he is creating with his girlfriend - and wedding bells are on his mind too.
He paints and idyllic country life that he is living with his other half, and has shared plans to host Christmas at the property for the 2023 festive season. Opening up to HELLO! Magazine, Ed said: “Amy and I moved to the countryside, just an hour from central London six months ago and have been busy renovating the house. I grew up nearby and my two brothers live close by. We are surrounded by countryside and I wake up in the morning and walk around and there’s no one but us and my neighbour’s horses. We are very, very happy.”
Discussing plans for Christmas, the TV star said: “We don’t have a dining room table yet. We are very excited and I’m picturing us having Christmas dinner around it together. Although one of my brothers and his wife and kids who were meant to be coming over are now going away. Families are funny! Trying to get everyone together is hard. We all want to do our own thing. But we are a very close family.”

One hundred per cent. I grew up in a wonderful household where my mum and dad were married. My parents loved each other fiercely right up to the end. I idolised them and their relationship. Just that kind of support!”
Also in the interview, Ed spoke warmly about his parents - university lecturer dad Peter and educational psychologist Carole - both of whom have tragically died. Peter passed away in July 2013 at the age of 66. While Carole lost her life to a rare form of cancer in September last year.
Ed has been raising awareness of the disease she suffered from; Mesothelioma - which is a form of lung cancer that is caused by asbestos. During her career, Carole worked in various school buildings, taking office space in the attic rooms. Due to the nature of Mesothelioma contraction, the family do not know at which point in life she inhaled the asbestos particles that caused the disease.
