Paris Hilton has shared her pride over pal Britney Spears releasing her new memoir after having seemingly received a copy of the Woman in Me along with a note from the singer.
Britney, 41, has prompted much excitement over the release of her highly-anticipated memoir this week. Excerpts had been shared ahead of its publication, teasing that the book explores various aspects of her life and career.
Many fans have now go their hands on a copy of the memoir following its release and Britney's pal Paris - whom she's known for years - has been among those posting about it. She took to her Instagram Story earlier for the occasion.

It was a copy of her pal Britney Spears' new memoir the Woman in Me, which has just been released (parishilton/Instagram)Paris posted a video on the platform that showed a copy of the memoir that had been neatly wrapped in pink paper and decorated with a matching bow. The apparent gift included a note on the front which was signed by Britney.

The note from Britney, which was attached to the front of the wrapping paper beside the bow, read: "This book has been a labor of love and reliving everything has been exciting, heart wrenching and emotional to say the least."
The footage showed Paris unwrapping the apparent gift, with the book cover unveiled in the closing moments of the video. She wrote a message for her pal Britney - who's wedding she attended last year - alongside the video.
The pair have known each other for more than a decade and Paris is even mentioned in the book (FilmMagic)Paris expressed gratitude over the memoir, writing in the accompanying caption: "Thank you [Britney]." She further commented in the recent post: "I'm so proud of you. I can't wait to read your new book, congratulations beautiful."
She's actually mentioned in the book, with Britney having reminisced about them partying together. She said that they once got "on top of tables" and "the best time" in Las Vegas together, adding that it had been "innocent fun".
She wrote: "We got on top of tables, took our shoes off, and ran through the whole club like fairy-dusted idiots. No one got hurt, and I had the best time with Paris - we were just playing, and we still do every time we get together."
The pair were believed to have enjoyed nights out together alongside the likes of Lindsay Lohan some years ago. Britney however suggested in her memoir that she was "never as wild" as she was made out to be in the media.
Britney Spears' memoir, , published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, is available Oct. 24 wherever books are sold.
